- I learned a little
more about Microsoft Access Database
- I learned how
to generate my own article out of a subject found in a newspaper article
- I interviewed
individuals via telephone and e-mail; only had a small amount of practice
in it before
- I got the chance
to sit in on an event and then write up an article from my experience
- I got the chance
to practice more on the computer; typing skills
- I learned how
to search the web for information on articles
- I dabbled a little
in editing my work as well as others. Also editing press releases
- I learned more
about computers from the articles that I researched as well as from
asking questions to individuals that worked at internship
- I learned how
to create text files and input them into Access
- I learned about
the different web sites that have information on current computer information
- I learned how
to communicate more efficiently through my writing as well as my spoken
words
- I got the chance
to explore different forms of writing in terms of edgy and straight
facts
- I learned how
to go about finding contacts for input into my article
- I got the opportunity
to help in the editing the layout of the magazine
