TYPICAL INTERNSHIP DUTIES

Internship duties will vary from each individual program, but here is a brief list of some of the duties from previous Interns.

• Input, massage, interview, set up appointments with data sources into Access database and Excel spreadsheets
• Manage internet based resume service with Access backend
• Create, maintain web pages using Net Objects Fusion
• Create queries from data sources
• Merge, purge data sources
• Generate sales contact reports
• Interview technical support clients and input FAQ's into data structures including Access database and Excel spreadsheet.
• Tie Access & Excel data structures to Web Site
• Create E-commerce Web Site
• Install Microsoft Personal Web and Information Internet Server
• Install Drumbeat 2000 E-commerce edition
• Create, maintain web pages using Net Objects Fusion and Drumbeat 2000 software tools
• Tie ODBC Data Structures (eg. Access & Excel) to Microsoft Active Server Web pages using Drumbeat 2000 E-commerce edition
• Tie Drumbeat Active Server Pages and ODBC Data structures through Secure Socket Layers (SSL) and Cybercash together making E-commerce Web Site usable
• Input, Merge, Perge Access customer database
• Write procedures
• Develop procedure to process on-line resumes
• Develop marketing plan for resume service
• Test marketing plan in Capital District
• Create revenue sources for database
